The EU65is uses Honda's advanced four-stroke GX390 engine for a maximum power output of 6,500 watts AC, and rated output of 5,500 watts, making it ideal for a wide variety of both domestic and commercial applications. Featuring Honda's sine-wave inverter technology, EU65is can safely provide power for frequency and voltage fluctuation-sensitive equipment such as laptop computers, medical or communications equipment.

• Eco Throttle
  This system incorporates a load-dependent speed control-type governor that offers excellent fuel economy by automatically adjusting engine speed to the optimum level, given the usage load. This reduces fuel consumption and operating noise in the normal usage range.
• Compact and Lightweight
  This product features a unique Honda high-speed multi-point alternator that has been integrated into the engine itself. The space-saving design has helped make this product an extremely compact, highly portable powerplant that is 30% smaller and 50% lighter than similar conventional generators.
• Quiet Operation
  This product features a low noise design including a soundproof cube surrounding the engine and a noise dampening outer wall, uniquely arranged in a two tier formation that optimizes the conventionally opposed functions of engine cooling and noise reduction. It is ideal to be used even in densely populated area, at night, or as home back up power supplies.
• Sine Waver inverter
  Honda boasts a sine wave equal to or better than the current from your household power. Honda engineers developed a revolutionary form of inverter technology. This process takes the raw power produced by the generator, passes it through a special microprocessor that provides ultra-clean power that boasts a sine wave equal to or better than the current from your household AC wall outlet. • Low Fuel Consumption
  The high-efficiency inverter and Eco-Throttle automatically control engine speed to suit the power requirements of the appliances in use realizing the economy of low fuel consumption. This generator can run for up to 12.3 hours of continues operation on a full fuel tank.
• “I-Monitor” self-diagnosis function
  The ‘i-Monitor’ LCD which gives the operator fingertip access to information about the generators’ performance. The ‘i-Monitor’ feature acts as an hour meter displaying hours of operation, generator output, engine speed and the battery voltage. It also boasts an overload warning light which flashes if the generator is overloaded or if its temperature rises abnormally. In this unlikely event, the generator will automatically switch off. An engine oil level warning is also provided by the ‘i-Monitor’ and the engine will shut down when the level is low.
