Product Overview

The EM50is is the largest capacity inverter generator in its class and builds on advanced technology used in Honda’s extremely popular EU Series generators. The generator is equipped with Honda’s revolutionary ECO-Throttle system which automatically adjusts the engine’s rpm to generate only as much power as required by the appliance, thus reducing fuel consumption by approximately 10% compared to conventional generators. The EM50is is perfect for powering larger appliances and will run anything from a circular saw to the most sophisticated computer equipment.

Product Features 

• Eco Throttle
  This system incorporates a load-dependent speed control-type governor that offers excellent fuel economy by automatically adjusting engine speed to the optimum level, given the usage load. This reduces fuel consumption and operating noise in the normal usage range.
• “I-Monitor” self-diagnosis function
  The ‘i-Monitor’ LCD which gives the operator fingertip access to information about the generators’ performance. The ‘i-Monitor’ feature acts as an hour meter displaying hours of operation, generator output, engine speed and the battery voltage. It also boasts an overload warning light which flashes if the generator is overloaded or if its temperature rises abnormally. In this unlikely event, the generator will automatically switch off. An engine oil level warning is also provided by the ‘i-Monitor’ and the engine will shut down when the level is low.
• Low Fuel Consumption
  The high-efficiency inverter and Eco-Throttle automatically control engine speed to suit the power requirements of the appliances in use realizing the economy of low fuel consumption. This generator can run for up to 12.3 hours of continues operation on a full fuel tank.
• Quiet Operation
  This product features a low noise design including a soundproof cube surrounding the engine and a noise dampening outer wall, uniquely arranged in a two tier formation that optimizes the conventionally opposed functions of engine cooling and noise reduction. It is ideal to be used even in densely populated area, at night, or as home back up power supplies.
• Convenience
  Easy to store and transport with a sturdy fold-down carry handle and large-diameter wheels. This allows for easy transport of generators for home or commercial use.

  This product comes with a four year Extended Domestic Warranty and a one year Commercial Warranty.
